It is true that he loses money, jobs, women and hair. Hence, it is perfectly all right to see him as a loser in that sense. However, he is a true sceptic, who is not even sure of himself, a hero; he is definitely not a loser - even though he is a "bald man, with no jobs, and no money, who live with his parents."
